Essential oils are 50 times more potent than their original plant source and are the most effective delivery agent for feeding cells with nutrition and oxygen.
How do they work? Essential oils enter the body and quickly start working via three paths:
- absorption through the surface of the skin
- inhalation through the olfactory system
Among many benefits, essential oils have the ability to kill bacteria and virus, regulate blood pressure, alter moods, improve breathing and clean receptor sites, allowing for better cellular communication.
When we breathe in essential oils, our body chemistry changes because our sense of smell affects the limbic system of our brain. Heart rate, blood pressure, breathing, memory, stress levels, and hormone balance are immediately affected by aromatherapy. Essential oils have profound affect on our physiological and psychological states as anxiety, depression, fear, anger, and joy all emanate from the limbic region of the brain.
Juicing
Drinking fresh raw juice, especially vegetable juice that includes plenty of dark leafy greens, greatly improves our body’s internal environment. Antioxidants found in juice cleanses the body of stored wastes and toxins, which interfere with the proper functioning of cells and organs.
Fresh juices foods literally create a garden-in-a-glass. The vast abundance of vitamins, minerals, enzymes, phytonutrients and antioxidants increases the mirco-electric potential of the cells. The resulting rush of oxygen energizes muscles and the brain.
Juices support a vibrant internal environment, which is key to optimum health. Cell and organ function are maximized. Abundance enzymes support a healthy bio-terrain. Most importantly, juices shift the body into a healthy alkaline state.
Pasteurizing juice, which occurs in ALL commercial products, destroys those beneficial rays. Naturally grown, sun-ripened, fresh vegetables and fruit are rich in light energy. Therefore, more biophotons equals higher quality of food as stored energy from the sun is delivered to cells. This helps one feel more energized and vivacious.
Cooking and processing food destroys these micronutrients by altering their shape and chemical composition. By juicing fresh produce, the integrity of micronutrients and bio-photons are maintained, and can be delivered quickly to cells.
Three other reasons consider juicing for optimal health are:
1. Juicing aids in the absorption all the nutrients from the vegetables.
2. Juicing allows the consumption of optimal quantities in an efficient manner. Some find eating many vegetables to be a difficult task. Juicing is a quick and easy way to consume large amounts of whole foods.
3. Juicing helps allow a wider variety of vegetables into a diet. Eating the same salads and vegetables daily violates the principle of food rotation and increases the chance of developing an allergy. However, with juicing, a wide variety of vegetables can easily be consumed.
Juicers describe improvement in many skin conditions such as eczema, skin eruptions, dryness, oiliness and susceptibility to sunburns. Hair grows thicker, stronger and more lustrous. Nail strength improved. Body odor decreased sharply while eyesight and sense of smell improved. Moreover, more importantly, juicers experience a marked increase in energy and a substantial decrease in allergies. Juicing creates better mental, emotional, and spiritual health.
